M E M O R A N D U M TO: ALL EMT-Bs, FIREFIGHTER/EMT–Bs FR: Region XI- EMSS RE: MANDATORY MODULE – This memo is to inform all Independent EMT-B’s, Firefighter/ EMT-B’s that beginning SEPTEMBER 1ST THROUGH OCTOBER 29TH , the MANDATORY continuing education module “PHARMACOLOGY AND ASSOCIATED PATHWAYS” will be offered. Anyone not attending this module is subject to suspension of their license. All sessions will be held at MALCOLM X COLLEGE, located at 1900 W Van Buren St. Each session is three (3) hours in length and will begin promptly at 0800 and 1200 hours. LATE ARRIVALS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED. All CFD Independents attending continuing education classes must be in uniform. Other Independents please dress appropriately. BEGINNING AUGUST 9TH, scheduling for this training will be accomplished through the EMS office at FAS from 0900 and 1500 hours at (312)746-6541. There will be no shift day restrictions for this module. You may ONLY make reservations for YOURSELF; you may not call for or sign up any other individual(s). THOSE ATTEMPTING TO ATTEND WITHOUT FIRST RESERVING A SEAT WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND. Each class will have 40 seats available and reservations are based on seat availability. For individuals attending the day after their shift, the responsibility of being on time lies solely with the individual member. Classes will be held on the following dates and times: PLEASE, DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST DAYS TO SIGN UP. IF YOU CALL AFTER THE FIRST DATE OF SCHEDULED MODULE, A RESERVED SEAT WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED.
